This Guatemalan coffee brings biscuit, lemon and brown sugar in a crisp, bright cup. It is a washed single origin coffee built from the lots of dozens of small growers in one Guatemalan valley.

Washed processing gives this cup real crispness – fresh and bright rather than sour, with biscuit, lemon and brown sugar layered over a natural, sugar-free sweetness. It’s a genuinely all-day coffee: delicate rather than intense, happy to stand alone in the afternoon, with citrus acidity that cuts cleanly through the sweetness.

Because this lot is built from dozens of small, roughly 1.5-hectare farms rather than one large estate, buying it supports a wide base of smallholders in Huehuetenango directly, rather than a single larger producer.

Holds milk beautifully – cow’s, oat, or a nut milk – and turns properly refreshing served over ice; oat milk’s own natural sweetness lifts it particularly well.
